When you have a location-independent online job you can literally work from anywhere in the world as long as you have a reliable internet connection. Many people make the most of that benefit by traveling around the world and exploring faraway places. In case you don’t want to go alone and have no one to come with you (not many can take a couple of weeks or even months off of work to travel the world), you could also join an organized “tour”. These digital nomad programs and retreats take you around the globe and allow you to do your online job at the same time.

Check out this article if you want to find great conferences and workshops for digital nomads in 2025.

Digital Nomad Programs 2025

There are quite a few of those programs out there today. Check out this overview of some of the best ones for 2025. In case you don’t see any dates yet, please check again later as I will update the post regularly.

1. Nomad Cruise

Where: Antarctica & USA – Australia

When: 1-11 February 2025 & 12 October – 9 November 2025

Price: $9,850

Nomad Cruise is another very popular digital nomad program. It brings over 150 remote working professionals together on a cruise ship for a trip across the sea. This trip doesn’t only cover accommodation and all meals but also all drinks. You can participate in various leisure, entertainment, and sports activities and make meaningful connections with fellow nomads. Join organized talks, meet-ups, workshops, and masterminds to learn, share, create, and connect while being unplugged during the program.

2. Hackers Paradise

Where: Worldwide, e.g. Colombia, Peru, Nicaragua, Guatemala, or Portugal

When: January – December 2025

Price: depends on the country, e.g. USD 1,790 for 2 weeks in Buenos Aires, or USD 3,790 for 1 month in Ibiza

Hackers Paradise is a well-established digital nomad program that hosts adventures all over the world spread across the entire year. There are optional start dates so you can decide when and where you want to join. The goal is to bring together a community of remote movers and shakers and provide opportunities to explore.

Hackers Paradise handles all the logistics during your stay so you can focus on being productive and engaged and meet new friends. Included are modern coworking spaces, private rooms with cleaning, community facilitators, and a robust program, including local lunches, cultural activities, and potlucks.

3. Unsettled

Where: Worldwide, e.g. Bali, South Africa, or Tahiti

When: February-December 2025

Price: depends on the country, e.g.EUR 2,593 for 8 nights in Mexico, or EUR 3,219 for 14 nights in Cape Town

Unsettled brings groups of about 15-30 people to various destinations around the world for one week, two weeks, or one month. It aims to give you time, space, and (un)structure to take a break from your normal daily routine and new inspirations. You get to enjoy accommodation, coworking space access, workshops, and various local events. Participants are usually highly ambitious young professionals, such as artists, designers, entrepreneurs, or CEOs.

4. Venture with Impact

Where: Mexico & Portugal

When: March – November 2025

Price: tbd

Venture with Impact is a social enterprise that organizes accommodation, cultural events, and pro-bono placements in local organizations for a 4-week program or a themed one-week retreat. That means you can do your remote job and have a positive social impact at the same time. The kind of work you get to do in these charity placements depends on your skills, interests, and available schedule.

In case you are not a remote worker, yet, the team provides you with plenty of information on how you can convince your boss to do your work remotely during the program and is even happy to talk to him or her personally.

If you want to find out more about Venture with Impact, check out their website and the interview I had with founder and CEO Ann Davis.

5. The Nomad Escape

Where: Madeira

When: 8 – 14 March 2025

Price: starts at EUR 1,995

The Nomad Escape is a business and network club for digital nomads and all remote professionals. These retreats focus on expanding your network, skills, and mindset while being in an exotic location. The 6- to 8-day retreats and programs have different mottos, like Level Up Club or Build Week, so you know where the focus is. The packages include accommodation, breakfast, evening activities, and weekend outdoor explorations.

While it targets business professionals, it is a very informal and friendly environment without suits and lots of connecting with like-minded people.

6. Mindful Nomads

Where: tbd

When: 2025

Price: tbd

Mindful Nomads hosts retreats for digital nomads, entrepreneurs, and other location-independent professionals. The programs are designed to practice mindfulness, get inspired, and connect with other like-minded remote workers.

In 2025 the retreats took place in Morocco and included indoor and outdoor activities, like yoga, meditation, or dancing sessions. But, of course, you also got plenty of time to work and join mastermind sessions.

7. Remote Year

Where: Worldwide, e.g. Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe

When: January – December 2025

Price: depends on the country, e.g. USD 2,350 for one month in Europe, or USD 1,250 for four days in Rio De Janeiro

Remote Year is definitely one of the most popular digital nomad programs. You travel in groups around the world, every month to a new country, and work in your remote job at the same time. You can decide if you want to join a program for one, 4, or 12 months.

The team takes care of your accommodation and workspace, so you can focus on your job and participate in many interesting, fun, and useful community events. They also help you to convince your employer to let you go on this trip of your lifetime. If that’s no massive help then I don’t know what is.

8. Nomad Train

Where: Russia & Mongolia

When: tbd

Price: tbd

Looking for a different kind of digital nomad program? Nomad Train might be the perfect choice for you. Go on an epic trip on the Trans-Siberian Railway and connect with a group of like-minded nomads on a train. This adventure includes train tickets, food on the train, accommodation in the stopover cities, breakfast, co-working in the stopover cities, and a SIM card with 35GB of data. Definitely a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Please note, that due to the ongoing war, all trips are temporarily suspended.

Bring Your Digital Nomad Career To The Next Level

As you can see, there are plenty of opportunities throughout 2025 to meet and connect with other location-independent professionals. There are many different locations, dates, and price ranges to choose from. I know that some of them might appear pricey, especially if you are at the beginning of your digital nomad career. But if you can somehow afford it, I’m sure you won’t regret it.

Certain digital nomad programs and retreats might take you out of your comfort zone. However, they will most definitely teach you plenty of new skills, give you a new perspective, broaden your mindset, and thus, bring your career to a new level. You will meet many like-minded remote workers and make connections that can impact your personal and professional life and change it for the better.
